Since forming RKM Capital, Richard has been providing leadership and strategic planning for the company. Utilizing over 28 years of commercial real estate experience, Richard originates and places real estate capital for commercial and multi-family properties throughout the United States and in some key international markets. Not only is he responsible for the company’s mission, he is also responsible for the origination, underwriting, and management of construction, permanent, and participating mortgages as well as joint ventures for numerous institutional investors. He served as Senior Vice President/Senior Director at NorthMarq Capital. Richard also gained valuable experience with Marcus & Millichap investment sales division and the national real estate brokerage firm Grubb & Ellis. While at these posts, he successfully originated and closed over $6 billion in transactions.

Richard has served on several advisory boards for major nationally known financial institutions and investment banks. He is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America, California Mortgage Bankers Association, International Council of Shopping Centers and National Republican Congressional Committee. He holds a B.S. in Real Estate Development, Finance and Communications from the University of Arizona.
