Vildane Zeneli

Zeneli had the highest overall score, combined with the online votes, audience participation and judges. Vildane, has worked with Whilhelmina and Abrams artist modeling agencies and her work varies from runway to print, commercial, catalogue and high fashion.

First runner-up in the annual beauty pageant was given to Jessica Brito, who represented Miss Dominican Republic and Second Runner-up was taken by the singer and model Marina Star, from Russia.

Other prizes were given; Miss Guyana, Bibi Fazie Hossain, won the Best Costume, Best Lingerie- was taken by Miss Clara Bercaru, from Romania, Miss Popularity- Patricia De La Rosa, who represented Miss Dominican Republic, and Best Evening Gown- to Miss Mongolia, Kiana Turb.

Audience and judges, selected Miss Belarus, Janna Bell, both Miss Dominican Republic, Jessica Brito and Patricia De La Rosa, Miss Guyana, Bibi Fazie Hossain, Miss Kosovo, Vildane Zeneli, Miss Romania, Clara Bercaru, Miss Russia, Marina Star, and Miss Trinidad and Tobago, Tiva Lee Samaru as the top 8 finalists at Miss Diaspora Models 2009 Competition.

Wearing a long yellow dress, a happy Vildane Zeneli blew kisses to the audience members on Saturday December 5th, after receiving her award from Angelina Shipilina of Russia who won the title in 2006. She started to dance once she was crowned by the former title holder Ricellys Dugal of Dominican Republic.

Vicky Zeneli, a singer, model and student grew up in Kosovo and moved to the United States in the late 1999. She told the judges that winning the title of Miss Diaspora Models, means so much for her and her country. She said her role model is Mother Theresa because “she had a purpose in life. She accomplished a lot; helped people and put a smile on their faces. Vildane Zeneli, said, that she likes to use her soul and talent to create something big, not just for herself but for everyone else around her.
